open source :: fetish sex

DSC09594I’m been buried, buried, buried (in a non-sexy, non-fetish way) under a pile of book and article edits (Chron, Smart Girl’s Guide to the G-Spot, O Magazine). But I see that my pal and sex-ed co-lecturer Thomas Roche has a fantastic writeup of our recent trip to LA (Hollyweird Babylon) where we gave a presentation on understanding and enjoying sexual fetishes. As many of you recall, I had a fantastic time, largely because Stockroom hosted, entertained and totally took care of me (and they’re all just so super cool).

So along with Thomas’ article, I wanted to also give you as much information about what was in the presentation as I can — I wish I’d filmed it for you. Here’s this:

* Here are our lecture notes as a Google document. (Let me know what you think of the Google doc format, this is my first try using it as an online education tool.)

* This is the Google document of the “Know Your Roles” quiz I wrote for Fetish Sex that we handed out to the class. Feel free to print, circle your choices and swap answers with a lover — or print it out as needed for adventures: write “tonight, 8pm, your house” on the top, give it to your sweetie, and go from there.

* This is a Google document of the yes/no/maybe handout we gave to the class, a fetish/role and clothing “yes, no, maybe” checklist. Print it out (or two), check whether you’d like, dislike, don’t care or might be interested in each item, and share the results with a lover. I did it with Hacker Boy over the weekend and we giggled and blushed and learned a few new things to try with (and for) each other. Very effective. :D

* Listen to my fetish sex lecture podcast (mp3).

* Listen to some fetish erotica I’ve read for Open Source Sex, like Richard’s Secret (mp3), A Recent Favorite (mp3), and Anything I Want.

* Check out my favorite fetish-flavored podcast, Fetish Flame.
