christian trolls and a porn debate on techcrunch?

by violet blue on January 2, 2007

Stranger than fiction and a lot more interesting… A few hours ago Scott let me know about a post that went up on TechCrunch where Michael Arrington blogged about a newly launched (though not new in concept) adult social network style image sharing site — EroShare. What ensued in the comments was a fascinating example of anti-porn conservative christians arguing the evils of pornography — versus pundits including videoblogger Robert Scoble. Even Michael Arrington is funny throughout the thread. And checking the comments again, they’ve doubled in number.

Start reading EroShare: User Generated Porn around comment #20 for the really interesting stuff. And don’t forget that porn is *legal* in the United States… It’s fascinating to clearly see when the conservatives’ arguments falter, they whip out the “child porn” salvos. Feel free to jump in at anytime. Kudos to TechCrunch for posting the item, as if adult sexuality (and reporting of newly-launched content delivery sites) is, you know, normal.
