Yesterday we had a hyooge party at the shop that was half work, half play with the machines. It was great to see so many friends, and also to get in quality time with the big lathe. I also got some great action shots of Scott, had qDot and Kelly as my guests, and just generally got into mischeif. A few other favorite pics are after the jump, and I’ll have a video update (that will be SO worth the wait) in a little while. I just finished a book monday night and am free of deadlines for a while; this party was a nice way to celebrate, but I came home feeling down and woke up a bit depressed. Strange. It doesn’t help that my lovers are… not here. My SFSI friends have rented a cabin in Tahoe, so I might escape the blues and head up there for a day or two.
